Dedicated to transforming student learning through innovative, equitable pedagogy — building confident writers, critical readers, and engaged community members.

Teaching Identity

For the past two and a half years, I have supported the mission of enhancing learning through innovative and equitable pedagogy at West Shore Community College. My work centers on helping students become confident writers and critical thinkers — whether they arrive ready for college or need support finding their voice.

From First Year Seminar to English Composition to Community English, every course I teach is designed around a core belief: when students see themselves as writers, they write with purpose. My dissertation on integrated reading and writing directly shapes my classroom practice, creating a research-practice loop that benefits students in real time.
